On Feb. 25, 2019, Fair Count began operations with a two-person staff, CEO Rebecca DeHart and President Jeanine Abrams McLean, who were determined to build and nurture civic power in communities for a fair and accurate 2020 Census.
Fast-forward to now, and Fair Count is a powerful organization with more dedicated team members and a national reach. We remain committed to ensuring that every community member in Georgia and across the country has a voice that is heard and represented. We remain committed to building pathways to continued civic participation, including through voter education and redistricting. And remain committed to the belief that an equitable nation begins with an equitable South.
