This March, we launched the “I Count” Bus Tour with plans to hit hard-to-count communities in Georgia in order to get a fair and accurate count. We had a spectacular start, but unfortunately were forced to cancel due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. We’re excited to announce the I Count Bus Tour: Remix, a virtual bus tour with the same hopes of highlighting hard-to-count communities and making sure we all get counted. Fair Count has pivoted to virtual events that will provide education on the census, make tools available to complete the census, and highlight existing census work in your communities to strengthen the pathway to civic participation. In addition to virtual events, we will also have a dynamic field program on the ground including phone banking, sending text messages, and partnering with local organizations who are already doing the good work.
